Candle Care
(the safety blarb)

  • Burn candle for 3-4 hours on first burn to ensure an even melt pool and avoid tunnelling.  Never burn for longer than 4 hours to prevent carbon build-up/’mushrooming’

  • Keep lit candle away from drafts, children and pets and never leave un-attended.

  • After first burn, ensure candle is cool, tri wick to approx. 5mm above wax re-centre wick and ensure there is no debris in the wax pool before re-lighting.

  • Extinguish flame when approx. 5mm of wax left in the vessel.

  • If burning multiple candles, keep 10cm apart from each other to ensure they do not create their own draft/fast burn.

  • TO NOTE: Coconut wax is a very soft wax (much more so than paraffin or soy) and as such, may be prone to ‘sweating’.  This is due to temperature changes and the naturally high oil content of the wax.  However, this will NOT affect the quality of the candle.

Each of my candles will burn for a varying length of time depending on its individual scent and how they are cared for.
